Michael always knew he was meant to be a musician. “When I was a kid, I was always inventing little songs. Songs about what I had for breakfast, or about the the ride on the bus. I would watch out my window. And somewhere along the way, it just became obvious to me that I would keep doing it my whole life.”

Michael Marciano thinks he’s very lucky to be a working musician. Especially in 2022. “I have to write, practice & play constantly,” he says. “Otherwise, my guitar, and the desire to play music is calling me out for being away and that makes me anxious.” That impressive work ethic has led to a wonderful life of in music performance, teaching, writing and interacting with other artists around the world.

Why are you a musician? “Music has saved me in so many dark times, helped me celebrate the good times and it makes my cry a little every day”.
