You can find Michael performing regular shows 3-4 times every week in St. Louis, Illinois and in the midwest area.
The live show features acoustic and electric guitar & vocals with live looping and drum beats, controlled and programmed in real time, all live without any use of tracks. It is an exciting live show that sounds like a full band playing popular setlists with danceable beats, guitar solos, and good volume control to balance the sound in the room and play to any audience.
Michael’s unique show was featured recently as an opening act at the St. Louis Arts Fair, playing solo on the main stage.
Guitarist and Composer/Recording Artist Michael Marciano is a New York native. He grew up on Long Island in the suburbs of NYC, studied classical guitar, music theory and composition at the Crane School of Music in NY. After graduating he moved to St. Lucia, W.I. to become director of guitar studies at the St. Lucia School of Music, a post he held for 4 years. He performed regularly in local venues, hotels, and toured in annual Jazz Festivals throughout the region as a performer with local artists. He was commissioned to compose music for the St. Lucia School of Ballet, and also transcribed local folk music for the national archives.
Michael has recorded and produced his own music. Available on Itunes, Spotify, Amazon Music & other streaming platforms. He is a published BMI Songwriter and has had success finding music frrom his catalogue placed within several media outlets. Marciano's writing and playing style blends his experience with jazz, classical, rock, reggae and world music. He also plays drums, piano, upright bass and trumpet.
